Looking about on the web ive found these pics, could the identification of the stig be out?

My nephew says he is the Stig - he lives in Catford and has a T shirt to prove it! It says 'I am The Stig' and even the label says Top Gear. He drives like a nutter and has never crashed. I rest my case...

I believe the Stig is in fact Racing Driver Ben Collins. There is a lot of evidence to support this, not least the Health & Safety Exectutive (HSE) report into the Richard Hammond jet-car crash, which in the report details Ben Collins as an Advisor and Performance car test driver who appears on the show in almost every episode.

Ben Collins signed off on the fact that he was happy that the Jet car was safe for Hamster to drive it for the show, and so goes on to detail who and what Ben does for the show.

You can also go to the Ben Collins website and you will see in multiple pictures he wears a Suunto wristop computer watch, and the eagle-eyed viewers will note that in most episodes, you can see the Stig wearing the same watch on his left wrist whilst driving cars around the track. The watch is quite distictive, and although not rare if you couple this with the HSE report above you can see who the stig is.

Sorry guys, rumbled. The Stig is Ben Collins...

In the South African news paper "Beeld" it said that the chances that it is Ben Collins is huge.
Because apparently Ben Collins went to a local photo print shop and printed pictures of The Stig driving
and the personnel got suspicious.

"On 19 January 2009, British newspaper The Daily Telegraph ran a story claiming that they had "outed" Collins as being one of the people behind the white-suited incarnation of the Stig, at the same time noting that "Collins, from Bristol, has always denied being The Stig".[3]

The Times, in a follow-up article, stated that the "identity of the white-suited Stig ... has been an open secret within the motoring world for some years, with newspapers refraining from publishing his name, to uphold the spirit of the programme." which concluded that "a newspaper broke with the convention to out Mr Collins, 33, after following up a story in a Bristol newspaper".[9]

Two Bristol-based local newspapers had published articles a week earlier, on the basis of information leaked from a local art-gallery. Collins had previously commissioned a Clifton-based father and son business in September 2008, to produce a limited-edition run of 450 poster prints to be sold on at a price of £318 each.[10]. Collins had initially portrayed himself as a BBC marketing executive[10] and only confirmed a more detailed connection to the Top Gear character after the signing of confidentiality agreements by the business owners. [10] [11] The signed poster image showed a salt flat scene, with The Stig positioned standing on it.[11]

However, Top Gear presenter James May claimed that the Stig's identity has not been outed and there has been speculation that there may be more than one person to be the Stig.[12]

Couldn't be him, they raced on Top Gear, Tim was in the Porsche and The Stig in the Aston (The Stig won!) and also, while The Stig was racing, Sabine was on the side of the track talking to Jeremy and Hammond (Captain Slow was gagged in the locker room).
The Stig also raced Sabine on one of Jeremy's videos around the Ascari race track.
As for the thought that there may be more than one Stig, that's not really a smart one, even if they would use a double for some shots, The Stig that everyone wants to know, is the one that does the laps and, as they said, for that they needed a tamed racing driver that could pull consistent lap times. More than one Stig would have resulted in gaps between lap times on the Top Gear circuit and you can see in every show that the driving style is always the same.
