Jeremy Clarkson Conservative Candidate in Sheffield Hallam

Postby Martin Day on Sun Sep 14, 2008 2:33 pm

I would like to see Jeremy Clarkson become the Conservative Candidate in Sheffield Hallam constitiency at the next election. I think he has the right ideas and PR skills to become a great advocate in parliament for the people.

Ever thought about becoming an MP Jeremy Clarkson? I know you have been mooted by 50,000 as PM - Maybe you should take the first step at the next election with a coup in Sheffield Hallam as the current MP runs against everything you advocate!

Considering that the Conservative Party are as much a bunch of illiberal control freaks as the lot currently in power, I can't see them appealing to young Mr Clarkson.

There is, however, a political party out there that probably would be more his cup of tea, one that puts the rights of the individual well and truly before those of the state: the Libertarian Party.

Jeremy Clarkson speaks the words of the people! He will bring some steel back to Sheffield rather than the wishy washy bloke who currently represents Sheffield Hallam. Sheffield Hallam is one of the most prosperous areas outside London and I am sure Jeremy has a huge following in the area!

Come on Jeremy, we want you as the Conservative Candidate in Sheffield Hallam!

Hello all,

Having just read Mr C's books extracted from his columns in the sunday Telegraph, I am shocked and surprised to find that I just about entirely agree with all that he says.

This has led me to the conclusion that it would be erroneous for him to stand as a conservative candidate at Sheffield Hallam. No, indeed that would be a big mistake. What he needs to do is form a completely new party something along the lines of the
Lets be proud of Britain again and shoot all yobs, environmentalists, beurocrats, do gooders and ban health and safety party.

Naturally this would be a bit of a mouthful and I would welcome suggestions as to a more abridged name but as I see it, its the only way forward.

Jeremy Clarkson for Prime Minister ??? - If we want to save our once great country, then it just simply has to happen !!!

Trev.
