The end of Top Gear?

Postby norfolkcaravanner on Tue Dec 22, 2009 11:00 pm

It seems that the end is in sight for JC and his mates......reckon the PC lot at the beeb have had enough.....
I reckon that JC needs Sheepshagger, Ivor and the Norky on the show.......dressed as Stigs in Black.......answering questions from tree huggers...bent politicians.....and Spams......They could get prizes for the best answers.......Sheepshagger could take them off to a cold mountain top in taffyland or disused coal mine and show them how its done without "wellies"......Ivor could smuggle them out of the country, strapped to the underside of his lorry and leave them on a Gypo site in Rumania......They could have my "Shed" for a weeks holiday in the middle of The Fens in January....with James May....and a homemade beer making kit.....

We could have Brian Brain McNab there as well - dressed also in black with a balaclava - just like the one he wears in his capacity as "Boys Brigade Commando, RSM".

And that "Lesbian Diver" could be there as well, just in case there's any trouble, or violence needs sorting (wonder if she's the sort you'd "like to watch" or the butch sort?).

Well, why don't you start it, Jim lad - this petision, that is?

Might well be the making of you!

Incidentally, did you ever buy that dictionary? Only £5.99 from W.H.Smith.

The most important things about my vehicle are how much I can throw in the back, and what colour it is. (Currently driving a lovely blue Discovery. God bless the Landrover.) Anyway, that is the sum total of my interest in cars but if the BBC takes Top Gear off air I will be on a plane and on their door step without delay to register my extreme displeasure. So there. That should do it...

Don't know!
Far to technical for me, that sort of thing.
You'd better ask Norky, wherever he may be!
He can then ask his Great Grandkids.

Yeah.........had a quick word, they reckon that you've got to ask a question, like " Do you think this Brewster Bloke is a complete f****** idiot"?.........then people can answer yes or no........and the most same answers wins......this can then be presented to the Pope for his blessing.........and the Lib Dems could include it in their manifesto along with all the other crap......hope this is of help........

A grave error it would be. The team has really got going from the last couple of years, the specials are awesome and funny as fvck.
If we end up with a 5th gear type thing with a new crew it'd be a mistake. One day it'll have to change but not yet, not at it's peak.

Grade 'C', eh? Highest grade in the class as well!

Isn't education a wonderful thing?!

I left school in the early 80's. Each class was controlled by one teacher for about 35 kids, and most of us left with a few 'O' levels and at least a good basic understanding of English and mathematics.

Discipline was administered via the threat of the cane, or even Mr. Jacks' infamous 'slipper'!

Now, classes have about 15 kids, the teachers, having managed to obtain no respect or discipline from the class, now need 'Teaching Assistants' to help them cope, and the kids leave school unable to add up without the use of at least a calculator, and unable to string together a sentence without littering it with words such as 'like' and 'whatever'!

They no longer teach maths and English in schools these days. No, now it's 'Numeracy' and 'Literacy'!

And the little buggers finish just after lunchtime as well nowadays. We wern't allowed to leave until after 4pm.

Time for a change at Top Gear, Clarkson has been there too long and is well past his sell by date, the sqeaky voiced dwarf is an ornament, and the long haired alcoholic one should retire and buy his own pub

What!.....All at the same time?!.........You're asking too much, Norky!

At least let the poor chap have a cup of tea (and perhaps a milk chocolate hobnob) in between tasks!

It's only fair.

(Might not be a good idea to let young Brewster watch though. He might start voting 'Windmill' himself when he's old enough!)

Thought I saw a 'Vote Liberal Soggy' poster in the back of a car the other day, but when I got a bit closer it turned out to say 'Dad's Taxi' instead!

Come on! Clarkson must be 50 or something, far too old to be a petrol head, you must agree that an injection of youth would revitalise the sagging show, they are running out of ideas

I like the show and its format, I just don't like the presenters

I think Fithwheel was probably just suggesting you don't watch, Brian, rather than telling you.

As I asked before, who do you think should take over from the three currently presenting the show?

Clarkson, Hammond and May all have completely different characteristics and personalities, but still you don't like any of them. I therefore find it hard to believe that any replacement would meet your approval. You appear to have an axe to grind against just about everyone for some reason or another, wouldn't you agree?
