Well, that's the difference, you see.

Most of us who contribute to this "Bastion of Excellence and Learning", as such it is, partake in a little light hearted banter and piss taking. Nobody takes it too seriously, and nobody takes themselves too seriously. Such is the spirit of the thing.

Unfortunately, not everybody "gets it". If some lefty Neo-Communist type disagrees with something someone says, rarely do they argue an alternative point of view in a reasoned, rational way. Oh no. They generally always turn to insulting the person or persons they disagree with, either verbally, or in print.

Listen to any political or ethical debate on the radio or television. These people, when confronted with reasoned argument opposing their viewpoint, will generally always resort to a childish paddy tantrum syndrome of screaming, shouting, interrupting, and huffing and puffing.

One point I find confusing though.

Brian of Britain writes that Norky has, and I quote, "a filthy mouth on you".

Have you ever met him, Norky?

If not, how does he know?

Where will he have heard you speak I wonder?

We had one once before I seem to remember. Chumpy, I recall he called himself. Hurled all sorts of abuse at me.
