Top Gear in Australia

Jeremy I understand the BBC and your need to sell Top Gear to the highest bidder but to allow the Australian Channel-9 to steal the show from SBS, means that if we are lucky we will get just edited highlights with a total program air time of 22 minuets with 38 minuets of advertising. Please, please put it back with SBS.

Minuets........ Aren’t they now banned in Switzerland?...............
No. Sorry. My mistake. It’s minarets that are banned.

Australians and Kiwis. People from the third world really should try harder.

Well done the Swiss! Had the sense not to get too involved with the EEC (which then transmogrified into firstly the EC, then the EU and then the EUSSR), but joined EFTA instead as we should have done. All the benefits, but still retain the right of self governance.

Common Market or Common Sense? They, along with Iceland, Norway and Lichenstein made the better choice.
