Oz & James' Wine Adventure

Postby violetrosetempleknight on Thu Feb 28, 2008 5:43 am

I caught my first episode last night on the Lifestyle Food (AU cable TV) and it was an absolute hoot! Both were quite tanked at one stage :silly: If you like James May, watch it. It is set up for weekly viewing on the programmer!

I recently re-watched the series in France, and you can see the connection between James and JC, with his 'diplomatic' comments about the French and France, but thus far his pronouncements have not been as widely distributed. Keep up the good work James, and one day you too will annoy entire continents with a few 'throw away' comments.

It's a great series. I'd like to see James doing something similar, but on food, with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. I suppose, though, that James is under contract to the BBC, Hugh to Channel 4 and never the twain shall meet. Pity.

Oz Clarke who appeared on the Wright Stuff this week said there would be a new series next year, but no mention of what country would be subject to the wrath of James's quality comments yet.
