Election day

Postby welshwizard on Thu Jun 04, 2009 6:13 pm

Yes, it's Election Day in the UK. EU nationally and councils too in England. I wonder how many arse clowns will vote loser sorry labour today, or any of the main parties? I suspect ukip, bnp and independents should have a good few days. But I suspect the main parties will look at it as a protest vote, and not that the majority of the population as do two of the three listed want the UK out of Europe and a total cap on immigration.

vote cast.

cap immigration, yes. but total separation with die true EU and its cancer member states unfortunately would not work.

Parties like Say no to Europe have preached to me on the evils of the EU but when pressed for longterm domestic trade and economic policies they are clueless.

The fact is that there will be, I think, a few people elected as MEP's who know very little about polotics and the way everything affects everything else. Birth of a new world order or putting the kids in charge of the sweet shop. Time will tell.
