G'day All,
Some bright spark decided it was a good idea to copy Top Gear with an Australian version. It's absolute rubbish and I call on everyone to come together to get rid of Top Gear Australia.
I would like to see the Real Top Gear team do an episode in Australia though, I think it would be a great laugh. Maybe they could test Mad Max's car or something like that. Find the most impractical car for Aussie conditions maybe, who knows. Anything really as long as it gets rid of Top Gear Australia. The show is coping a bagging over here by the Aussie TG fans.

I went to Ep 3 taping last night, whilst good, the whole thing is scripted and is starting to really show! Steve is a sweetie and lovely to talk to, Warren is elusive and Charlie Cox is just an arrogant....

Take away the fake buddiness and it may be half descent.

I have just watched an episode and i do not think it is all that bad.
Except they copy everything from the uk.
And they are a bit tight on the cash spent on each show. just the look of the thing thing cheep and tacky
But then again the proper top gear was on this sunday and it was fantastic.

Absolutely, I totally agree mate. Top Gear Australia is a terrible copy and the presenters are weak. Its just embarrassing. The main dude trying to do Clarkson just doesn't have enough wit and looks quite foolish. Why try be someone you're not? They all need some personality and need far better jokes. Loads of my mates don't give a toss about cars but would never miss a show of the original uk top gear because its funny and the lads are so easy to relate to. Noone can relate to these guys at all - they are try hards. TOP GEAR AUSTRALIA STINKS!
