Toyota Aygo

Postby Socs1789 on Thu Nov 13, 2008 3:23 pm

Hi Jeremy, my partner and I have just retuned from a week in Malta (humour me for a second) and whilst there we hired a car
for the week. We were given a Toyota Aygo. Never, in all of my life, have I ever sat in a bigger load of rubbish. Our lawn mower runs better (and looks prettier). The Aygo had more rattles than a baby's creche and in the centre of the dash there were the controls for the heating, demisting etc. To say the interior was plasticy would be an understatement but whereas most of the plastics were grey the heating and demisting controls were white. It looked like the manufacturers had run out of the grey stuff and decided to use a plastic milk bottle to finish it off. The boot space ( that would be about all you could get in
there - a pair of boots and then only if you took no more than a size 9). I don't recall seeing the Aygo on Top Gear but it might be a good idea so as to warn the general public. It was economical enough but I really think that this is the most awful car
we have ever had the mispleasure of using.
