Jeremy... can you handle 8000 hp on water?

Postby alvinski on Thu Jun 11, 2009 3:27 pm

As a massive fan I've loved the auto extremeness and Jeremy's passion for finding the power angle, but on the boat side it's always fallen a little short, even a bit pathetic really. I hereby invite Jeremy to drive our 50 foot, 210 mph 8000 hp, unlimited "torques" offshore racing boat... if it's a bit to scary for you Jeremy, we could put you in a 4000 hp version, or maybe that's captain slows cup of tea, and yes, we're talking miles per hour not kilometers... the US still holds onto it's imperial ways which I find quite amusing.

To see these beasts check out the video channel on youtube... now this is a worthy opponent for Button and an F1 car.

The topgear webmasters keep deleting my posts, is this democratic or are you running a dictatorship?

oh... the reason we stopped at 210 mph is because we ran out of lake... the 4000 hp versions hit 200 mph and have average speeds of 187 mph racing the circuits... on the Atlantic Ocean in rough water. It makes the Euro Class 1 racing look a bit silly really... and they won't let us race with them, now that's not cricket.

Com'on Jeremy it'll be fun.
